C.G. BUSH ANTIQUE KALEIDOSCOPE C. 1875 W/ ORIGINAL FLUID FILLED & OTHER GLASS
Two small brass rods are missing. Original engraved C.G. Bush and the patent number. Very rare find and a very nice piece.
Has the original blue, red, yellow, orange, white fluid filled glass vials and original spirals, snake shaped glass parts. The turned wooden foot is original and in very good condition. All is solid.
For save packaging and transit I will take it apart. Very easy to put back together. Just one screw and the foot has a screw thread.
The kaleidoscope is overall in cosmetically and mechanically in good condition. Barrel shows some signs of prior use. Barrel shows few small dings, some tarnishing to the brass lacquer, minor scuff marks. The main barrel middle part is in very good condition. Front moves smoothly and view is pretty bright. All is original and it shows no repairs. Beautiful rare piece.
