ROLLEIFLEX 3.8 ORIGINAL CAMERA TLR *HINGED BACK* ZEISS TESSAR 75MM 3.8 LENS

Shutter works and all speeds are accurate, longer speeds also accurate. B & T both work. Release film lever needs some help to return to start position.
Viewing folds open perfectly, but shows clearly deforming. Spirit level at the ground glass works.

Note this is a model 3.8 original. Camera was made in c.1931 and serial 76347. Has a hinged back. Early models were no hinged.

Camera shows some signs of prior use and is in good condition. Shows some scuffs marks, few small scratches, no dings, no dents, some paint rub off. Finder is in bright condition. Mirror in poor condition, shows quite some dark spots, still useable and still pretty bright. Focus turns smooth and accurate. Aperture and speed setting move smooth. Film winds on smooth. Minor wear at the original leather cover.

The lens is cosmetically and mechanically in good condition. The elements are in good condition. Show minor cleaning marks, no scratches, very slight haze at the outer edge of the front element, no fungus, no separation. Shows no dust particles inside. Aperture and shutter blades show wear and are clean.
