CAMERA IS JAPANESE MADE. THE SECRET SERVICE ALSO AT ONE POINT ALSO STARTED USING THESE FOREIGN CAMERAS.
100% ORIGINAL. CAME IN A SPY CAMERA COLLECTION I HAVE LISTED OR WILL LIST SHORTLY.
As it is designed for a 35mm camera, but one could only take one picture when using the camera installed. Or it is for a model with a motor inside the camera, like the Robot Royal*, but probably swapped out, because wind on lever is obstructed by the mounting plate.
Could also be that the jerrycan spy camera set-up was still in development. Also the front lens cover does not lock.
Note the designation code on the inside bottom cover of the jerrycan.
Cosmetically the camera is in good condition.
Shutter works, faster speeds are accurate, longer irregular. Light meter does not respond to a fresh battery. Remote release works. Overall the cameras shows some signs of prior use and is in good condition. Shows some scuffs, minor small scratches, no indentations, no dings, no dents, shows some paint rub off.
