VORMBRUCK FECA FLEX RARE 35MM CAMERA #46 W/ RAU ASTRO ASTAN 4.7CM 2.9 LENS

€6,200.00

Shutter works perfect at all speeds. This camera is one of the first cameras to be produced in Germany after world war II. Nice detail is that I bought this camera in Kempten. The actual city it was produced in.It has a serial number stamped in the back, number 46.
Camera shows really only some signs of prior use and is in very good overall condition. I’ve seen a few of these cameras and this one is in the best conditioned I came across. The original case is in outstanding condition and even more rare than the camera itself. Finder is bright and clean and focusses from waist level. Shows some minor wear at the top-plate and some scratches at the bottom plate. Camera shows no dings. Cover is original and complete and in very good condition. Shutter speed ring turns smooth. The lens elements are in good condition. Show no cleaning marks, no superficial scratches, no deep scratches, no spots, no separation, no haze on or in between the elements. Aperture blade and speed adjustments turn smoothly. Aperture blades are clean and show some wear. Shutter blinds are light leak free. Film counter works. Focus turns smooth. A very nice conditioned and extremely rare camera. Come with original ready case in very good condition, show some scuffs and scratches. Camera is even ready for use!
Comes with two copied articles in German. One dated 1949 and one about the history of camera construction after 1945 covering in detail the history of Vormbruck Feca-Flex.Camera-Bau Vormbruck registers his company on 30 January 1946. The name Feca comes from FElicitas, name of his wife, and CAmera.
