The photomicrographic device is overall in very good condition. Also this complete is quite rare. Lettering is bright and clean. Shows some signs of prior use. Shows only minor superficial, small surface scratches some paint rub off and minor tarnishing here and there at the knobs. Device shows no dings, no dents, no scuff marks, no deep scratches. Shows some handling wear. The shutter works and is accurate at all speeds. Lens thread is 40mm. The bellows looks to be light leak free, but shows some wear at the corners due to use and I’m not sure. Focus turns very solidly smooth. All is functioning as should and smooth. Along the rail it also moves very smooth. Ground glass, mirror(no de-silvering)and plain glass are clean and in very good condition. Complete it is 19.5Kg, 43 lbs in weight. Hence the shipping costs. It is very rare and the forerunner of the Aristophot and Panphot microscope system.The tube rail is 70cm, 27,56Inch in height, maximum height of the camera itself is 93.5cm, 36.80Inch. Maximum distance you can obtain between the shutter and the heavy base is 65.5cm, 25.80Inch. At this max the device is still stable. It is fully original. Nothing was updated, repaired or changed.
