Little smudge looks like metal. Looks like a little piece of gum. I took it off and will take a new picture. Really looks like bare metal. I assure it is not.
A real nice walking stick. Handle feels very good. It is 79.5cm, 31.30” in length. Nice cane. Weight is 229Grams, 8.10oz. Wood and gold hall marked handle 19mm, 0.75” at its widest. The handle length is 104mm, 4.09” outside measurement. French made C. 1920. Is fully original and shows no repairs. Ding at the handle tip end.Shows some signs of prior use and is in very good condition. Shows some scuffs and scratches, small slits in the middle of the shaft(See picture). Lacquer in fairly good condition, bit dull. Has a sturdy shaft. Furelle is missing
