The microscope, with nice horse shoe shaped base, is overall in very good condition. Microscope shows minor signs of prior use. Shows superficial and small surface scratches and minor tarnishing. Barrel shows no dings, no dents, no scuff marks, minor small scratches. Black painted parts original and in shiny and very good condition.
The elements of the lenses are in good condition. No cleaning marks, no scratches, no haze, no fungus, no separation, some dust on the elements. Shows some signs of prior use on the outside of the lenses. See pictures.
Microscope comes with all items shown in the pictures, 1 eye piece, 1 lens Reichert No.3, no aperture, condenser. Lenses are in good condition. Mirror one sided in very good condition, shows no de-silvering. Condenser is bright and clean. All functions of the microscope operate smooth. Tilt moves smooth and stays perfectly in place. A nice example of a Reichert microscope, 11.81”, 30cm tall. Comes in the wooden case with velour lining. No key Case shows no cracks.
