Shutter works, but second blind the ribbon snapped and does not get pulled up. First blind is in very good condition and light leak free. Second blind appears also to be in very good condition, can only see a little part. Is of the same material as the first blind.
Camera in very nice condition. With some signs of wear here and there on the camera. Shows some scratches, some scuff marks and paint rub off but really not that much and mostly at the top. All functions of the camera are tested and working perfectly. Original ground glass in very good condition, view is bright, glass is quite clean, some dust on the inside, and without spots and scratches. The plate holders fit and are also original to the camera, come in original case, but all are stuck to the case and the case is damaged. Camera comes with separate ground glass and hood for rear view focussing also in very good condition. Very nice and in this condition rare camera. Camera comes in original leather case, stitches at the rear corners torn, back completely loose and strap snapped in two.
The lens is in very good condition. Show some wear of prior use, but also really not that much. See pictures. The rear and front element are in good condition. Rear element shows no scratches, no cleaning marks, no haze, no fungus, no separation, no scratches. Focus turns smooth. Aperture shows some wear and oil on them, open and closes smooth.
In all a beautiful collectible camera.
