ANTIQUE CANE WALKING STICK GADGET MODEL WRITER, DRAWING ARTIST, THIMBLE, LOUPE
A real nice walking stick. Handle feels good. It is 88.5cm, 34.84” in length. Nice cane, light weight. Weight is 142Grams, 5.00oz. Gadget cane for writing, drawing, has a small ink well(cork broke off). The end knob has a small loupe in it or a Stanhope, but I cannot see though it and it shows no picture, can also be used as a thimble. The middle part sits a bit loose in the shaft as the wooden screw thread wore out because of use. Therefore cannot be used to walk with as a cane. The cane shows some small dings on the shaft. Knob 19mm, 0.75” at its widest. Probably German made C. 1900. It shows no repairs.Shows some signs of prior use and is in good condition. Shows some scuffs and scratches, no cracks. Lacquer in is good condition. Has a metal tip and a light weight sturdy shaft.
