Clermont & Martin French stereo viewer. C. 1870. Walnut Burr veneer.
Beautiful stereo viewer is overall in very nice condition, with some signs of prior use, and works perfectly. Shows small restoration at the top. Shows a crack in the lens unit board. The cups and the lenses are in good condition, show some cracks and clean, shows no glass chip off. Shows paint rub off at the wooden eye cups. Shows some small scuff marks and some small scratches on the wood, but really not that much. The original lacquer is shiny and bright. Nice 90x180mm ground glass viewer. Focus operates smoothly. Elements, mirror and ground glass are original and clean.
