BRASS ANTIQUE LENS FIELD OR STUDIO CAMERA APPROX. 250MM COVERS 4X5, 5X7

It comes into focus at approx. 250mm at infinity. It covers 5x7” and 4x5” with room to play. Front and rear elements are 41mm in diameter. Barrel’ diameter is 50mm. It has a 53mm screw thread mount and comes without flange. Lens is 73mm tall. It has a single stop hole aperture. I believe the rest of the blade is used to black the image out. The small ‘lever’ sits loose in the barrel but one can use to lock up the blade. The ring with the small rod is loose and seems to have no function nor do I know what it was used for, it turns freely.

The lens cosmetically in fairly good condition. Barrel shows some signs of prior use. Barrel shows no dings, no dents, some tarnishing, some scuff marks, some paint wear and some scratches at the upper ring’ edge. The elements are in good condition. Shows no cleaning marks, no scratches, no haze, no fungus, no separation. Shows a smudge at the rear at the edge. See pictures. Shows no dust particles inside. Comes without flange.
