Antique French c.1880 oak camera. Note the few repairs. At the front two metal plates were added top strengthen the camera. At the rear, the guide rails, show damage and repairs. Study the pictures to get a good idea of what you will receive. Focus moves smooth.
Wet plate, probably made by Reygondaud, camera shows some signs of prior use and overall in good condition. Shows some small scuffs, some scratches, few dings, no cracks, no dents. Bellows moves smoothly, is overall in good condition. Shows a small hole. Can be simply repaired. Comes without ground glass and with an original plate holder in very good condition.
The lens is in very good condition. Shows no dings, no dents, some scuff marks, some small scratches. Shows age related wear and tarnishing of the brass.
Glass shows no haze, no separation, one small scratch at the rear, no fungus.
In all a nice camera and lens!
