The hand microscope is in good condition. Made c. 1890. Magnification is approx. 6x. It shows moderate signs of prior use. No dents, no dings. Diameter is 23mm and height is 53mm.Simply pull out the larger part and that can be used as a magnifier. Having both parts in the cylinder it acts like a telescope, but image is up side down.
