The white lettering is painted black. It is an original Zeiss lens. Serial is 3152561.
Lens barrel shows some signs of prior use and is in very good condition. Shows minor scuffing, few tiny scratches, no dings, no indentations, minor paint rub off, some chrome loss at the front edge. Aperture setting moves very smooth. The elements are in very good condition. Minor cleaning marks, no scratches, slight haze, no fungus, no separation. Shows no dust particles inside. Aperture blades show no wear and shows a bit of oil, open and close perfectly smooth. Focus turns smooth.
