ANTIQUE BRASS MICROSCOPE CASE MOUNTED FRENCH BOTANICAL C.1870 ELLIS TYPE
Microscope is unsigned and comes with original wooden case. Height is 15.5cm, 6.10”. Nice almost complete small microscope! Tweezers missing.
The microscope is overall in good condition. Shows some signs of prior use. Shows superficial and small surface scratches and some tarnishing. Barrel shows no dings, no dents, some scuff marks, minor small scratches.
The elements of the lenses are in good condition. No cleaning marks, no scratches, no haze, no fungus, some dust on the elements. Shows some signs of prior use on the outside of the lenses. See pictures.
Microscope comes with all items shown in the pictures. Lenses are in good condition. Mirror one sided in good condition, edge de-silvering spots. Focus works. Comes in the original wooden case. Case shows no cracks.
