Antique French c.1890 camera. Lens holder unit has a nice raise and fall distance, and shift properties.
Shutter needs work. Camera comes with 3 double plate holders that fit and belong to this camera.
Lens has a thin coating at the front element, which for this edge lenses is rare.
Camera can be changed in portrait into landscape format. Lens shutter come with working and same period cable remote release.
View camera shows some signs of prior use and overall in good condition. Shows a very nice patina. Wood is hard and all is very well constructed. Shows some small scuffs, some scratches, few dings, no dents. Original bellows moves smoothly, is overall in very good condition, minor wear and is light leak free. Comes with original ground glass in good condition.
The lens is overall in very good condition. Barrel shows no dings, no dents, minor scuff marks, no scratches. Aperture open and close very smooth and blades shows some wear.
Elements shows no cleaning marks, no haze, no separation, no scratches, no fungus.
In all a very nice complete set.
