SVENSSON!? HASSELBLAD SVEA? DETECTIVE FALLING PLATE 9X12CM CAMERA SUTER LENS

€1,349.00

Shows to many similarities to not be a Svensson camera. Might be an early Hasselblad Svea or an unknown model. The provenance being the camera coming from Sweden and all the Svensson similarities are simply to many. I suspect it is one of the first models made or an unknown model Tessin. Tessin gold lay in letters at the rear. Also other Svensson models have the gold lay in lettering and the back.

Note the finders and the mirrored in view spirit levels. All working for landscape and portrait format. Also the camera has vertical and horizontal movement capabilities. Doesn’t work smooth.

Shutter works and speeds are pretty accurate. T setting works. Focus is by a push and pull system and works perfectly smooth.
Camera comes with 12 original plate holders.

Camera shows minor signs of prior use and is overall in very good condition. Shows minor scuffs, minor and very small scratches, no dings, no dents. Finders in very good condition. View is good. Spirit levels working.

The lens is a Suter Aplanat No.2 C model and in very good condition. Lettering is bright and clean. Shows no dings, no dents, no paint rub off at the front, no scuff marks and no scratches. The elements are in very good condition. No cleaning marks, no scratches, no haze, no fungus, no separation. Shows no dust particles inside. Aperture blades show some wear and are clean. Aperture open and close perfectly. Camera comes in case with also a Swedish provenance. Very rare and very nice conditioned camera.
